E26 house - Residential - 2013

In this project, the dwelling was proposed as a single, simple and resounding volume. A gabled northwest-oriented construction following the style of the old Mallorcan “possessions”.

 

The regulations of the area impose strict conditions with regards to terrain adaptation to that affect a section of the building. The plot, on which the property is located, enjoys extensive and unobstructed views over the Bay of Pollença, maintaining a smooth topography, descending towards the sea.

 

The house is distributed over three floors, one of them below ground level. Its lay-out is adapted lengthwise to the porch, giving the interiors an extra contribution of light and privileged views from all angles.
