The project hotel-boutique La Goleta has maintained it´s concept as “hotel by the sea” inspired by the Mediterranean style. Its a simple family hotel with spacious rooms, giving a feeling of being stopped in time escaping the hectic pace of contemporary masses.
It´s design has predominantly captured light through ample windows that create and serve as an outside and indoor link. The tones of white, the wood and the corporate blue give an impression of diffusers that spread the light so characteristic of the Mediterranean through the rooms. Its minimalist façade is spread uniformly over the 5 floors free of embellishments.
On the roof, surrounded by natural wood, is the hotel pool with it´s clean and straight lines perserving the sombre appearance of the façade. The glass railings allowing the magnificant views from anywhere on the deck of the bay of Puerto Pollença.
