The intervention of this project is a hotel establishment that was built at the end of the 60s during the height of touristic boom in the Balearic Islands and itis situated in a busy touristic nucleus. The 6 floor building preserves certain virtues and it stands out with noticeable horizontal balconies.
For the 21st century this building had become obsolete and taking advantage of the Balearic Touristic law we were given the opportunity to renovate, modernise and extend the hotel.
The project consisted of a complete renovation of all existing rooms, common areas as the entrance, the reception and lobby area and the dinning room. The refurbishment, including the integration of holistic and spa area were with the intention to increase the quality and hotel category..
The extension was achieved by adding an extra floor of rooms resulting in 7 floors and a full lateral of the east side of the building.
